A type of black tea, orange pekoe refers to the tea's high quality, not its flavor. Leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant are harvested and fermented, which results in black tea's color. The three grades of black tea are orange pekoe, pekoe and souchong. Because it's simply a type of black tea, orange pekoe contains the same general health benefits all black teas provide.

PEKOE TEA


PEKOE black tea is a fine grade Shorty, curly or semi-curly leaf of large size of tea which includes young tea leaves and buds. When well handled and brewed, the tea has a rich forest-like scent with a hint of bitterness and a sweet finish.
Our best quality super PEKOE black tea grade best suits to middle East market. The climate of Sri Lanka, which produces super PEKOE black tea for strong tea lovers.l

How to make a perfect cup of Super PEKOE black tea?

Use fresh, cool, oxygenated water. pre-heated or hot tap water. Heat the water and pour it directly over the leaves. (Use about one teaspoon of tea per cup.) For black tea, allow the water to come to a gentle boil. Steep the tea in an infuser about 3-4 minutes for black tea, Then remove the tea leaves. Perfect tea is brewed one cup at a time. Personal tastes, vary, of course — you’ll want to adjust the measurements and brewing times according to your own preferences. Add sweetener/milk according to your own preferences. Relax and Enjoy! All types of tea (green, black, and white teas) are produced from the Camellia sinensis plant using different methods in tea factory production. Many varieties of green tea have been created in countries where they are grown. These varieties can differ substantially due to variable growing conditions, horticulture, production processing and harvesting time. Green Tea is largest leaf grade among the Green teas. Green tea and other green teas are also made from Un-fermented leaves not like black tea. These tea leaves therefore retain their green color and delicate flavor. all type of green teas have many health benefits.

How to make the perfect cup of GREEN TEA

Use fresh, cool, oxygenated water. Generally, brewing white tea requires hot water at 175º. Please allow to steep for 1-2 minutes. Then remove the Green tea leaves. Golden tips tea – White tea/Silver Tips tea was first grown in Sri Lanka at Nuwara Eliya near Adam’s Peak between 2200–2500 meters, which describes mid-grown area in “Ceylon Tea growing regions”
The tea is grown, harvested and rolled by hand with the leaves dried and withered in the sun.

How to make a perfect cup of tea?

Use fresh, cool, oxygenated water. Generally, brewing of white tea requires hot water at 175º (simply add two ice cubes for every 8 oz of boiling water to achieve this temperature). If the water is too hot, the tea will be scalded, causing it to become bitter and astringent. Please allow to steep for 4-7 minutes.Then remove the white tea leaves. A small team of experienced pickers handpick just the buds from select bushes. When we are producing silver tips or golden tips, same camellia sinensis plant can not produce tippy type black tea which are FBOPFEx Sp and FBOPFsp tea. Our silver Tips-white tea gives savory aroma, smooth, sweet taste, rich body and smooth delicate cup. The latest medical findings suggest that white tea may be a more effective cancer fighter than even green tea.
